Initially, I had decided on focusing on the recording of songs only, and forget about bands for a while. But then Wolfgang showed up. We had big fun, just playing at home and started to build up a repertoire of singer-songwriter material. We mixed all kinds of styles, a bit of swing, rock, soul, and folk, and we mixed English, Dutch and German

But the songs just -needed- to be played live. So Wolfgang took the time to convince me of singing my stuff live and we compiled a program of his songs and mine, accompanying each other. Wolfgang on 12-string, and I played Rhodes or piano. We did 6 live shows, and they were fantastic experiences, especially the show in the Bebop-Bar, one of my favourite jazzclubs.
